Pet Care Experience
My partner Biz and I have always been passionate about providing exceptional animal care. Since we were young, we have had homes filled with furry friends, and we love spending our spare time volunteering at humane societies and shelters. Friends and family have always counted on us as their go-to people for dog sitting, and we have opened our home in the past to foster dogs in need. We pride ourselves on making our home welcoming to our fur babies.
How does pet care fit into our daily routine?
I'm a software engineer who works remotely. So I am home all the time. My partner also works from Home as an artist so the animals under our care will be under supervision around the clock.
How do we care for pets in out home?
I own the property, so I can tailor the space as needed. I will learn as much as I can about your furbaby from you to best cater to their individual needs, and I love sending updates with photos or videos at the frequency you need.
We wake up and go outside for a short walk and get everyone to pee and poo. When we come back in, we will all eat breakfast.
In the afternoon, we either play fetch or Frisbee outside in our big backyard until they get tired or go on a long walk in the neighborhood.
At night we all eat dinner, and before bed, we take them on a walk and have everyone pee and poo again before bed.
Where do the dogs sleep?
We love having my dog guests snuggle up with me on my bed at night. It's always a delight to have cuddle buddies around! This is why I ask for dog or baby wipes to clean their paws after every walk.
During the day, I have a sizeable elevated bed for my dog guests to rest on.
If they are crate-trained and prefer that, they can sleep in one of the two extra-large crates with blankets inside.
